Grouping dates allows you to analyze trends over time without manually changing your source data. This feature is essential for creating clean, professional-looking time-based reports.

Select your data range, go to the 'Insert' tab, and click 'PivotTable' to place it on a new or existing worksheet.
Add the Date field
Drag your date field into the 'Rows' area of the PivotTable Fields pane.

Select grouping intervals
