Returns TRUE if the number is even, and FALSE if it is odd.
This function works the same in Google Sheets as it does in Excel — same syntax and arguments.
ISEVEN(number)The ISEVEN function evaluates a numeric value and determines its parity. If the provided number is an even integer or results in an even integer after truncation, the function returns TRUE; otherwise, it returns FALSE.
=ISEVEN(4)Result: TRUE
4 is an even number.
=ISEVEN(7)Result: FALSE
7 is an odd number.
The ISEVEN function truncates the number towards zero and evaluates the resulting integer.
