Syntax
MAX(number1, [number2], …)Arguments

The first number or range.
number2…optional
Additional numbers or ranges.
MAX returns the highest number in the values you supply, ignoring text and blanks. Pair with MAXIFS for a conditional maximum.
=MAX(C2:C100)→$9,800Highest value in the range.
