How to create a pivot chart in Excel

A pivot chart provides a visual representation of your pivot table data, updating automatically whenever you change your table's layout or filters.

Select the pivot table
Click anywhere inside your existing pivot table to activate the PivotTable Analyze tab in the ribbon.

Insert the pivot chart
Go to the 'PivotTable Analyze' tab and click the 'PivotChart' button in the Tools group.

Choose a chart type
Select your preferred chart style from the dialog box and click OK to insert it into your worksheet.

You can use Slicers to filter your pivot chart interactively by clicking the 'Insert Slicer' button in the PivotTable Analyze tab.

Can I change the chart type after creating it?

Yes, right-click the chart and select 'Change Chart Type' to choose a different format.
