How to Convert Formulas to Values in Excel

Converting formulas to values is a great way to freeze your data, reduce file size, and prevent accidental changes to calculated results.

Press Ctrl + C (or Cmd + C on Mac) to copy the selected cells to your clipboard.

Yes, you can press Ctrl + Z immediately after pasting to revert the cells back to their original formulas.
