An Input Message is a pop-up tooltip that appears when a user selects a cell configured with data validation.
Wypróbuj z SIPart of the Data Validation feature, an Input Message provides guidance or instructions to users before they enter data. It appears as a floating box near the selected cell to help prevent entry errors by clarifying expected formats or values.
For a cell requiring a date, the Input Message title could be 'Date Format' and the message could be 'Please enter the date as YYYY-MM-DD'.
Go to the Data tab, click Data Validation, and select the Input Message tab to toggle the display and enter your text.
