Syntaxe

FLOOR.MATH(number, [significance], [mode])

The FLOOR.MATH function rounds a number down toward zero or away from zero, depending on the mode. It is more flexible than the standard FLOOR function because it allows you to control the rounding direction for negative numbers.

Arguments

numberobligatoireThe number you want to round.
significancefacultatifThe multiple to which you want to round. Defaults to 1.
modefacultatifThe direction to round negative numbers (0 or omitted rounds toward negative infinity).

Exemples

=FLOOR.MATH(6.7)

Résultat : 6

Rounds 6.7 down to the nearest integer.

=FLOOR.MATH(-5.2, 2)

Résultat : -6

Rounds -5.2 down to the nearest multiple of 2.
