SQRT

Returns the square root of a positive number.

この関数は Google スプレッドシートでも Excel と同じように機能します。構文も引数も同じです。

構文

SQRT(number)

The SQRT function calculates the positive square root of a given number. If the number is negative, the function returns a #NUM! error.

=SQRT(16)

結果: 4

Returns the square root of 16.

=SQRT(A1)

結果: 5

Returns the square root of the value in cell A1 (assuming A1 contains 25).

What happens if I use a negative number?

The function will return a #NUM! error because the square root of a negative number is not a real number.
