Returns the real coefficient of a complex number in x + yi or x + yj text format.

IMREAL(inumber)The IMREAL function extracts the real part of a complex number. The input must be a string formatted as either 'x+yi' or 'x+yj', where x is the real coefficient and y is the imaginary coefficient.
=IMREAL("3+4i")Resultado: 3
Extracts the real part 3 from the complex number 3+4i.
=IMREAL("-5-2j")Resultado: -5
Extracts the real part -5 from the complex number -5-2j.
Excel will return the #NUM! error value.
