ATANH

Returns the inverse hyperbolic tangent of a number.

Esta función funciona igual en Google Sheets que en Excel: misma sintaxis y mismos argumentos.

Sintaxis

ATANH(number)

The ATANH function calculates the inverse hyperbolic tangent of a given number. The number must be between -1 and 1 (exclusive).

=ATANH(0.5)

Resultado: 0.549306144

Calculates the inverse hyperbolic tangent of 0.5.

=ATANH(-0.1)

Resultado: -0.100335348

Calculates the inverse hyperbolic tangent of -0.1.

What happens if the number is outside the range -1 to 1?

The function will return a #NUM! error because the inverse hyperbolic tangent is not defined for those values.
