SIGN(number)The SIGN function determines whether a number is positive, negative, or zero. It returns 1 if the number is positive, -1 if the number is negative, and 0 if the number is zero.
=SIGN(10)Ergebnis: 1
Since 10 is a positive number, the function returns 1.
=SIGN(-5)Ergebnis: -1
Since -5 is a negative number, the function returns -1.
The SIGN function returns 0 when the input is 0.
